Light a Candle
Joe Adams passed away june 26,2013 after long battle with cancer. He died at Eastland Care Nursing Home.
He was preceded in death by his parents Cephus and JoAnn Johnson adams and a brother Gary Adams. Also was a very special aunt that was like a sister Nancy Murphy.
He is survived by his son Joe Adams of Columbus and a sister Carolyn (Mont)Lowry also of Columbus. Also surving is a daughter Christy Race and a Lindey that he raised like his own.
He had had 4 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was also survived by a uncle that was like a brother Curt Johnson of Carbon Hill.
He worked as a security guard at Capital Law School for many years. He received many awards for his kindness and doing a job well.
Joe enjoyed all night fishing and watching Nascar.
Joe was born march 9 1949 and was 64 years old.
His service will be held at Grace Apostolic Church on July 9th at 7PM. Service will be led by Pastor Robert Linder.
Burial arrangements will come at a later time.
